THE ROLE
The Development Pattern Maker is responsible for creating accurate and efficient garment patterns to support high-quality and cost-effective production. The role includes developing computerized patterns, preparing measurement charts, grading sizes, and working closely with design, development, and production teams to ensure optimal fit and production efficiency.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:
Main Goals
- Develop and digitize computerized garment patterns using Optitex, Coral Draw, and Photon.
- Prepare and finalize garment and dyed tube measurement charts.
- Grade product measurements across size runs while maintaining consistency and fit.
- Prepare sewing operation specifications and technical guidelines for production teams.
- Transfer finalized measurement charts, pattern files, and sewing specs to production.
- Collaborate closely with design, development, and production teams from prototype through bulk production.
- Ensure patterns meet quality, fit, and production efficiency standards.
- Continuously improve pattern-making processes to enhance accuracy and reduce waste.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in pattern making, garment construction, or technical design
- Proficiency with Optitex, Coral Draw, and Photon software
- Strong knowledge of grading techniques and measurement specifications
- Experience working with sewing operations and production teams
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
- Knowledge of fabric behavior and fit testing
- Experience in apparel manufacturing or the textile industry
